PET can be recycled over and over again = rPET
Our new bottles are made from previously recycled plastic known as rPET or Recycled PET.
rPET has been approved by the FDA for direct food contact and is less expensive to produce. Producing products from recycled plastic saves energy by more than half and uses nearly 90% less water in production process.
In addition to recycled PET, Real Water is making an effort to save thousands of ready-to-drink PET bottles by producing Real Water in 5 gallon bottles.
For every 5 gallon bottle produced, Real Water saves about 37 500ml bottles!
